Afterschool in Greenpoint - Winter 2025

February 28 - April 11, 2025: Afterschool for kids 4-7 years at
Ms J’s Gymnastics, 71 India Street (2nd Floor) Brooklyn, NY 11222

Spring Summer Semester (end of April - end of June 2025): Consists of 10 classes. Will be announced on March 22nd. There is a possibility that we will move the Afterschool Program from Fridays to Wednesdays.

  • Maximum enrollment: 7 kids

  • Pickup at PS 31 between 2pm and 2:15pm; children are being walked to the afterschool classroom at
    Ms J’s Gymnastics, 71 India Street (2nd Floor), Brooklyn, NY 11222; Children can also be dropped off at Ms. J’s Gymnastics at 2:30pm.

  • Price: $779 for the entire 7-week Semester; $111 for 1 Trial Class.

  • The families provide snacks and water bottles. (Please see snack option where we can provide snacks for your child.)

Enrollment Process

  • Step 1: Sign up to start enrolling your child.

  • Step 2: You will be sent the enrollment forms.

  • Step 3: All documents need to be completed before the beginning of the semester. (before 1st class).

Afterschool Schedule

  • 2:15pm - Snack time (30min.) Children bring their own snacks. Please, no nuts.
    (Rella’s Spielhaus is a nut-free environment.)

  • 2:45pm - Homework support if needed.

  • 3:15pm - German circle time; weekly learning topic is introduced, i.e., singing German songs and reading German books (45min).

  • 4pm - Playground time (ca. 45 min - 60 min).

  • 5pm - Arts & crafts, puzzles, free play (45 min).

  • 5:50pm - Pickup. Grace period until 6pm.
